EXCLUSIVITY
The manuscripts sent to Bioética UNAM must be unpublished and the authors who submit their works undertake not to submit them simultaneously to other publications, for this it is necessary that they attach the document Letter of originality and not simultaneous application.

NATURE OF THE WORK
The contributions received for possible publication must be original results derived from academic work linked to bioethics, according to the journal's approach.

ANONYMITY OF AUTHORS
To ensure anonymous evaluation by the experts who will perform the peer review, the files containing the manuscripts should not include any information that reveals their identity anywhere in the text. Thus, the name of the authors, job affiliation, ORCID identifier, acknowledgements, will be included in the title page, as explained in Rules for publishing.

CO-AUTHORSHIP
The type of participation of all authors must be indicated. For no reason will a change be accepted in the order in which the names of the authors were submitted at the time of application, and it will not be possible to omit or add any name that had not been indicated from the beginning, so it will be necessary to identify such information in the registration data.

ARTICLES IN THE SAME NUMBER
No more than two works by the same author or co-author will be published in the same issue of the journal.

PUBLICATION FREQUENCY
When a person has published in Bioética UNAM, they must wait a year to publish again.

PUBLICATION LANGUAGES
Manuscripts will be received in Spanish or English. Proofreading will be done only on works written in Spanish.
